How It All Started

Hello! My name is Rosa Parks. I was named after my maternal grandmother Rose.  I was born in a small town of Tuskegee, Alabama on the 4^th of February in 1913. My mother’s name is Leona Edwards. My father’s name is James McCauley.  My mother was a teacher in Pine Level, and my father was a carpenter. My mother and father never got to see each other because of my dad’s job. So they decided to get divorced.  I have started this blog because I wanted to tell to you about my life as a child and growing up to be an adult.
